Ren Ri

Fritz Redl:
Boredom will always remain the greatest enemy of school disciplines. If we remember that children are bored, not only when they don't happen to be interested in the subject or when the teacher doesn't make it interesting, but also when certain working conditions are out of focus with their basic needs, then we can realize what a great contributor to discipline problems boredom really is. Research has shown that boredom is closely related to frustration and that the effect of too much frustration is invariably irritability, withdrawal, rebellious opposition or aggressive rejection of the whole show.

Happy 7th Day of Lunar New Year!
Today is Ren Ri, so, Happy Birthday to everyone!

I forgot to mention in my previous entry that I watched Huo Yuan Jia on Wednesday, before training at SIM.
Oppz…
It is a nice movie and there are some lessons to learn in between all the kicking, breaking of bones, demolishing of furniture, planting of rice and various degrees of screaming. ^.^
No Chinese New Year is complete without a Jet Li movie… heeehoo~

Today, went to Siya’s house to bai nian… and play mah jong… haha… it has been a very long time since I went there to ‘dry swim’…
Played with Jerome, Siya and Yong Xiang… hehe… Yong Xiang is in the Navy doing his national service at the moment… he kinda looks like a younger version of Ken… gosh…
Played until Yong Xiang had to leave for family dinner… den sat round the living room chatting about what we have been up to and what’s to come for our futures… mostly about Jerome’s future, since he will be enrolling into NUS SOC this year.
Jia you ah Jerome!
Can’t wait to have mah jong gathering again... hehe…

Ok… eyes getting tired… marathon starts tomorrow and ends Tuesday night…
The joy of the Lord is my strength!
Pah Heh Ah~
^-^
